Q: Where are you based?
A: The manufacturing facility, Nanjing OLO Furniture Joint Venture Co., Ltd., is located in Nanjing. The export department is also located in Nanjing.
Nanjing is very close to Shanghai. It is located west of Shanghai. It is only 2 hours by express from Shanghai. There are direct flights to Nanjing from Hong Kong, Singapore, Macau, Seoul, Beijing, Guangzhou, etc.
Q: Where is the loading port? Can you quote FOB Shanghai?
A: We load the goods from the Nanjing port. Nanjing is a location convenient for ocean shipment. In some cases, for example to Japan, the freight from Nanjing is less expensive than freight from Shanghai.
Q: What is your production capacity?
A: About 10,000 kitchen sets per month.
Q: How many employees are there in your company?
A: We have over 500 employees in OLO Furniture Group. Of them, there are over 350 workers working in factories.
Q: Do you produce "knock down" standard modular cabinets?
A:Yes. Our product system is based on a collection of standard modular cabinets. There are different types of cabinets, base units, wall units, tall cabinets, single-door, double-door, ect.
Also all of the cabinets are manufactured with high-efficiency high-accuracy German wood machinery provided by Homag™ Group and Biesse, ensuring the high manufacturing precision.
Q: Can you produce “assembled” cabinets?
A: Yes. We are flexible in the packing and shipping methods. However, “knock down” method saves more in packing cost and freight cost.
Q: What kind of material do you use for your cabinets?
A: Our standard solution is 18 mm thick high-quality E1 standard moisture-resistant particleboard, with high durability- melamine double faced laminated, safe for stringent European/Japanese market. The standard colors are white or OLO patented “Royal China” color. We accept customization request in carcass colors, material, thickness, with MOQ of 2x40 container loads.
Q: What kind of material do you use for your cabinets?
A: For all production, the high-quality wood adhesive made by professional German manufacturer Jowat™ is used; strong frameless construction with cam fitting connection.
We can also produce cabinet carcass in MDF boards, or plywood, as per clients’ request.
Q: What types of kitchen doors do you supply?
A: We offer a wide range of doors, including melamine foiled (standard or European premium), thermo-foiled (standard or European premium), UV lacquered, glass (clear, white, patented, frosted, colored), aluminum foiled and wood veneered
Q: What brand of hardware does Olo use?
A: OLO Kitchen offers a wide ranged spectrum of products, including carcass, doors and hardware. Among the international brand names, there are Blum, Hettich, and Hafele for your choice. In fact, BLUM is one of OLO Kitchen’s strategic partners. OLO and BLUM have jointed run an “Orange Desk” charity program which donated school desks to the schools destroyed by earthquake 2009. The total value of donation comes to 300,000 RMB.
For drawers, the options are OLO metal box, OLO two-fold or OLO three-fold (with or without soft closing); OLO tandem drawer with soft-closing; or Hettich ™ metal box, or BLUM ™ tandem drawer.
For flip open mechanism, the options are OLO air pump, or imported German Hetal™, or BLUM products.
Q: What brand of hardware does Olo use?
A: For hinges, the options are OLO clip-on, OLO soft-closing, and BLUM™, Hettich™, or Hafele™.
Please kindly keep in mind that the quotation of Most Frequently Ordered Modules is based on OLO metal box, OLO clip-on hinge, OLO air pump.
Q: What type of bench tops can you supply?
A: We produce acrylic (also known as Corian), quartz stone, laminate, stainless steel.
Q: What are the published toxic and formaldehyde levels for your cabinetry?
A: The high quality of OLO products originates from carefully picked wood suppliers. We only choose wood material (MDF and particleboards) made above the stringent German "E1" standard. European wood board standard “E1 grade” requires the wood board formaldehyde content to be below certain level. By contracting the National Wood Chemistry Laboratory, we incorporate the sophisticated wood chemical lab tests as a part of our standard Q&C routine. At the one quality examination conducted by the Government Bureau of Business, OLO’s board quality is ranked among Top 4 out of 80 manufactures; also the formaldehyde content is well below the E1 requirement.
Q: How many units would fit in a 20 ft / 40 foot container?
A: It depends on the size of the kitchen cabinet you order. About 30 units per 40 ft.
Q: What is the minimum order size do you take?
A:The minimum order size is 1x 40’ HQ.
Q: How long is your lead time for production?
A:It is 40-60 days depending on colors. For our standard products, we deliver within 40 days.
Q: What are the payment terms?
A: For our standard products of FCL order, we accept 50% T/T advance and the balance paid 10 days before the shipment. We also accept 100% IRREVOCABLE CONFIRMED L/C at sight . For LCL order, we accept only 100% T/T advance.
Q: If I start from trial order, is the price as same as you quoted in quotation sheets?
A: No. It depends on the quantity that you order. If you just want one piece for some models so that the total order will not meet one container, the prices will not be volume discounted.
Q： I see OLO also produces home furniture, wardrobes and bathroom cabinets. Can I mix my kitchen order with these items?
A: Yes. You are welcome to do that. In fact, we are proud of being a total solution provider for your home furnishing project’s needs.
